A noble character is the most priceless human attribute. In this paradigm of nobility, I also include the net worth of Financial Stewardship. Here is a list of noble characteristics to strive for and pray for in no particular order. These can be used as a prayer list or for journal reflection. Benjamin Franklin had his list of 13 virtues. What noble virtues are you striving for?

NET WORTH AND STEWARDSHIP
Soon after I was married, my father-in-law gave me a book entitled “Financial Peace” by Dave Ramsey. I recommend most of his approach to financial stewardship. Click here to learn more. By following the principles that were outlined in this book, our family has been blessed. In stewardship, we also realize that we are blessed to be a blessing to others. Here is a simple plan to help your net worth and your ability to create wealth and use it for good.
- Pray and ask God to teach you His view on money.
- Read Dave Ramsey’s books “The Total Money Makeover” and “Financial Peace”. You can also take his class, “Financial Peace University”.

- Follow “Our Rich Journey” on YouTube and watch their videos. This couple “retired” from their regular jobs at 38 years old and have a lot of wisdom about investing in real estate and the stock market. Click Here.
- Start small, live on less than you make, get out of debt, invest, pay off your house early and give Tithes and free-will offerings to God’s Church. Help the poor as the Lord leads you, and God will multiply your efforts.
- If you are led to build wealth, there are many ways. One book to learn how is “80 Proven Ways to be a Millionaire” by Paul S. Demazo. Click Here.
- When you understand the power of compounding interest and investments over time, you will know how wealth is created. Here is a link to a Google spreadsheet I created. Feel free to make a copy and then adjust the variables to fit your goals. Click Here. There are also many other investment calculators online, such as this one. Click Here. Almost anyone can be wealthy if they can structure their income and expenses so that they can live on less than they earn and invest at least 10% in a low-cost S&P 500 index fund like SWPPX. $3000 saved per year at 10% interest for 40 years is equal to about 1.5 million Dollars. You can open a free investment account at Schwab.com or Fidelity.com. You can open two accounts: The first for investment goals before retirement and another ( Roth IRA – Individual Retirement Account) for after your working years. To learn this philosophy, watch this video by legend Jack Bogle. Click Here.
- Dave Ramsey says, “Live like no one else so that you can live and give like no one else”. May you prosper in your stewardship of the resources God has entrusted you with!
